I have been painting and selling my art for over 30 years.

My first career was in the creative industry of hairdressing.

Indulging in my 37 year career through travel and business I was excited by the study of human behaviour and how people connect with each other and their spaces. What I have learned through these years underpins a lot of my creativity. My works are often inspired by my connection, exposure and colourful upbringing in Africa.

My career evolved and I decided to fully immerse myself in the creative process. I went on to complete my Bachelor degree in The Creative Industries, Majoring in Visual Arts, Printing and Photography.

I am a multi-disciplinary artist, working across a range of mediums including acrylics, printmaking, papier collie, textile design and photography.

My approach to art is explorative. I have an insatiable curiosity for experimentation with mixed media, materials and methods.

I endeavour to push the process further, often indoctrinated and spontaneous.

My aim with my aesthetic outcome is to express a tension between the idea and the image, endeavouring to create an emotion between subject and decorative pleasure.

My art philosophy is inspired by the Secessionists, where fine art meets decorative art.

I paint to celebrate the unusual rather than the norm.
